ABOUT ME

Growing up in South East London, Greenwich, I witnessed the devastating effects of racism when my friends were murdered in racist attacks. There had been a lack of adequate responses from key institutions, which sparked a passion in me to push for more cultural awareness and understanding in places that needed it most. From there I started my DEI journey in the Metropolitan Police, where I spent 19 years as a Police Officer. During that time, I made it my mission to educate teams about the importance of DEI, working from within to make real change in the system. I played a key role within a staff support association to aid in tackling violence against women and girls – bringing empowerment to those less confident within society and the workplace. I also created a network of over 500 people to bring change and understanding across one of the largest organisations in London.

Now, I help bridge the gap between corporate organisations and marginalised communities, teaching businesses how to better relate to and understand communities they may not typically engage with.

The variety of skills employed allow me to drive real, lasting change. From social media management and community engagement to leadership in DEI initiatives, my extended reach enables me to have the broadest impact.

I now work as a consultant, public speaker and facilitator, helping organisations across all sectors and within education.
